Bride and Groom – Edwina and James.

Wedding days are special days for a Bride, a Groom, their families and friends. As a Wedding Photographer, it is always an honor to be present during this special time and such an joy to record this special day in photos. My work will last a life time for everyone, something they can all look back on and remember that special time in their lives. Knowing this is one the biggest reasons I love doing weddings.

Recently, I had the honor of recording the Wedding Day of Edwina and James in Donard. This is such a life loving, fun loving couple and a joy to be around. The zeal and zest they have for everyday on Earth is just awesome.

I started this hectic, but cherished day, at the home of Bride’s parents, I took candid shots of the Bride and her Bridesmaids getting ready. The make-up, the hair and finally the beautiful gowns. Each of them were gorgeous but the beauty of the Bride was the focus of the day, as it should be.

From their home, I traveled on to the quaint, small church of their venue in Donard. Such a charming church! As a Wedding Photographer I couldn’t have picked a more picturesque setting for candid shots of the Groom and his attendees. Each handsome in their wedding attire and surrounding a handsome Groom with such a beautiful background, it was breathtaking.

Once the Bride arrived, the preparations picked up as the big moment of her walk down the aisle was about to start. Beautiful music softly played in the background as a quartet sang. All eyes were on the Bride as she entered and the church and to see the Groom’s face was priceless.

After this beautiful, adventurous couple said their vows, the guest and wedding party went ot the Clanard Court Hotel for the reception, an event to be remembered by everyone there. The beautiful couple entered the room to “Only Hope” from the movie “A Walk To Remember”. This song has special meaning for me as it is the same song my wife and I entered the room together for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. too. I was already enamored by this couple and the song sealed that for certain.

After they finished their dance, they began jumping and doing many things other than dancing. Before you could think about it, their Wedding party joined in with them. I captured many great shots of this moment, even snapped some candid shots outside of the whole group.

As a Wedding Photographer, I could not have asked for a better subject than this wonderful, fun loving, full of life couple as Edwina and James. They were so wonderful to work with and I know they have pictures of this memorable day and time of their lives.
